Conference Week!

I’m gearing up to speak at the upcoming NJ SCBWI Conference in Princeton. I’ll be speaking about revisions once and synopsis writing twice, and if there is anyone left who hasn’t heard me speak by the end of the weekend (at least not of the MG and YA writers), I’ll be surprised, since I have a total of about 200 people in my 3 sessions.

So, since NJ SCBWI is my favorite conference of the year, I thought I’d spend the next week with advice on conferences. For today, I’m linking to agent Mary Kole’s blog, kidlit.com, and her observations about attending a conference and Getting into a Closed House.
