2015 Nelson Algren Literary Awards

The Nelson Algren Literary Awards are sponsored by the Chicago Tribune.

–1. Stories must be fiction and must not have been previously published.

–2. Stories must be written in English, double-spaced, and no longer than eight thousand (8,000) words.

–3. Entrant’s name must not appear anywhere in the Story and no watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices may be added to any Story.

–4. Stories must be original to entrant (not copied, adapted, or reproduced from any other source and not collaboration with any other person).

–5. All characters in your Story must be entirely fictional and not based on any actual person, whether or not living.

–6. Stories must not depict any identifiable trademark or trade name.

–7. Stories must be appropriate for publication in a commercially distributed publication.
