Afternoon of Art, Music, and Photography at Pearl S. Buck International

Some of you might be interested in this great event at the Pearl S. Buck House this Sunday, July 15th.

JULY 15th, 1 – 4pm – Looking for a different way to spend your Sunday afternoon? Visit Pearl S. Buck International, 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, on Sunday, July 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. for a Sunday stroll to take in the picturesque landscape while enjoying the sights and sounds of local artists. Admission is $8 per adult which includes wine, cheese, cookies and beverages.

Artists and photographers’ work will be on display and for sale.  Pianist Jamie Seeger will be performing throughout the event and professional organist, Alice Firgau will give two organ performances on Pearl Buck’s historic house organ and her Organ CD will be on sale.

Artists who do not usually screen print their work will have their oil, pastel, or watercolor artwork converted into screen prints and displayed. These artists are part of a group called “Push, Pull, Print,” founded by Christopher Kline, whose goal is to push artists outside of their normal training, pull the ideas together, and then screen print it.

Exhibit and Sales:  Photographer Chris Mills ~ Underwater and Floral Topics.  Studied at Tyler University of Art

Authors, Anne Kaler, Writers Who Quilt, Quilters Who Write and Paul Janson, The Child in Our Hearts will be present and sign and discuss their books.
