Opportunity! Query an Agent on Twitter!

This Thursday, January 6th, Elana Roth, Katie Shea and Caren Estesen, of the Caren Johnson Literary Agency will be taking pitches on Twitter. Check out the submissions page to see what we’re currently looking for

Here’s what they are interested in:

Caren Estesen is currently looking for great romance that spans the genre. That means she’s considering contemporary, paranormal romance, romantic suspense, and inspirational romance. She will also consider lighter mysteries (think Sophie Littlefield and Lisa Lutz) and  urban fantasy (think Sandman Slim by Richard Kadrey and Johannes Cabal the Necromancer by Jonathan L. Howard).

Elana Roth is focusing her list on children’s and young adult books, and is primarily looking for high concept middle grade and YA fiction. She will consider picture books from author/illustrators* only. She’ll also consider a select number of adult projects in the areas of narrative nonfiction, pop culture and pop science. No vampires.

Katie Shea will be very limited with her selection of authors. She is specifically seeking literary and commercial fiction with a strong and unique voice, smart narrative nonfiction, and memoir, a story of a personal overcome or struggle. Please no fantasy, no vampires, no sci-fi, no children’s books, no picture books.

The CJLA Twitter handle is @cjlitagency. Check their website for more information.
